What is it we see in these photographs – fragile, „shaky“, exposed many times over? What makes us keep looking at them for so long? Why do some of them seem to draw us inside, into their own patterns and marvellous worlds, journeys, lights and brushes? How do we find ourselves feeling like we know these foreign fantasy – sceneries? What is the trick, what is the key?
It is not by coincidence, you cannot meet a coincidence fifty, hundred times over. Is it than a trick? A new technique? No, it is not a new technique, despite its unusual character and the author’s craftsmanship, developed to the full. No new technique is in itself able to keep us long in its playful, carefree world.
